Meet The Coaches

Eric Blanton, Owner

My name is Eric Blanton, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I’m a Warwick High School graduate and had the opportunity to play Division I football at East Carolina University. Football has played a major role in my life, and I’ve always hoped to share the sport with my children. I’m now the proud father of four daughters—two currently playing college lacrosse, and a set of 13-year-olds who were introduced to Flag Football two years ago and absolutely fell in love with it.

Seeing their passion has inspired me to help grow flag football and other youth sports in our area.

I was also the Head Varsity Boys Outdoor Track Coach at Valley Central High School from 1999- 2015. Currently, I am the Varsity Boys’ Assistant Outdoor Track Coach at Warwick Valley High School. I am also the Village of Warwick Recreation Director since 2005.

Sports have played a major role in my life, and I was always influenced by my coaches growing up. I want to help make sports in children’s lives a positive experience like it was for myself as a kid.

Logan Hurd

I graduated from SUNY Cortland where I played football and was part of a National Championship team. Sports have played a major role in my life, and I’m passionate about using athletics to teach lifelong skills such as teamwork, discipline, and confidence. I’m excited about the opportunity to support and grow youth sports while helping create positive, meaningful experiences for young athletes.

Mike Sullivan

Hi my name is Mike Sullivan, one of the founders of Bloodline Lacrosse. I was born and raised in Long Island & moved up to Orange County in 2009. I graduated from Marist College in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. From 1998 to 2021 I was a first responder through being a police officer, certified in CPR and first aid.

I was always very athletic, and played hockey all my life. I became involved in lacrosse when my children were in kindergarten and first grade, and realized how amazing this sport is, and how it relates to other sports. Sports were a major part of my life, which helped with responsibility, discipline, nutrition, and the overall care and maintenance of your body. Those are the traits that can be used in whatever you choose to do!

Conner Perez

My name is Connor Perez and I am a Warwick Valley High School Graduate. I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where I was a three year captain for FDU. I am a certified physical education teacher and currently the Boys’ Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach at Warwick & JV/ Varsity Football Wide Receiver Coach.

Football has always played a pivotal role in my life. Between the success and hard times, the lessons I have learned being around the game for 20 years has helped shape the man and coach I am today. My goal is to teach players all I have been taught throughout my career and help lead them to achieving their goals.

Lauren Desrats

My name is Lauren Desrats, and I am a proud graduate of Warwick Valley High School. I continued my education at Mount Saint Mary College, where I majored in English and played basketball. In addition to my degree, I earned certifications in adolescent and special education, and I completed my master’s degree in literacy at the same institution.

Currently, I teach 9th and 10th grade English Language Arts at Warwick Valley High School. I also serve as an assistant coach for the girls’ soccer and basketball teams, as well as the head coach for the junior varsity girls’ lacrosse team. Growing up playing sports has significantly shaped who I am today, and it is my goal to inspire young athletes to work hard and become strong leaders, both on the playing field and in life.
